Nuclear Cooling Towers Against Night SkyThe International Conference on Nuclear Engineering (ICONE). May 11-15, 2008, Orlando, Florida. The event is organised by ASME International, the OOAE Division of the International Petroleum Technology Institute (IPTI), and the Instituto Superior Técnico (Technical University of Lisbon), through its Unit of Marine Technology and Engineering and is sponsored by various professional associations of many countries. The objective of this annual international event is to provide a forum for the scientific and industrial community from around the world to meet and present advances in technology and its scientific support, to exchange ideas and experience whilst promoting technological progress and its application in industry as well as international cooperation in ocean, offshore and arctic engineering.

Looking Up At Nuclear Cooling TowerTenth NRC/ASME Symposium on Valves, Pumps, and Inservice Testing. July 14-16, 2008, Washington DC. Sponsored jointly by The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), the Symposium is conducted every two years to provide for the exchange of information on technical, programmatic, and regulatory issues associated with the testing of valves and pumps used in nuclear power plants. The audience will have an opportunity to discuss ideas and ask questions during the technical sessions. 

Pipeline Down The HillInternational Pipeline Conference. September 29 - October 3, 2008, Calgary, Canada. Organized by volunteers representing international E&P, transmission, and distribution corporations, energy and pipeline associations and governments, the IPC has become internationally renowned as the world’s premier pipeline conference. This is a not-for-profit conference and proceeds continue to support educational initiatives in the pipeline industry.
